The McMaster Women’s Choir Wins First Place in Competition

Congratulations to the McMaster Women’s Choir, which won first place in the Equal Voice Women’s Choirs cateogry of the 2015 National Competition for Canadian Amateur Choirs! The results of the competition were announced on June 28 by Katherine Duncan, host of Choral Concert on CBC Radio 2.

The 45-member choir is directed by Associate Professor of Music, Dr. Rachel Rensink-Hoff, who received the Ontario Arts Council’s Leslie Bell Prize for Choral Conducting in 2014. She currently serves as President of Choirs Ontario and Vice-President of Programs for Choral Canada.
