Exploring Hamilton’s Past and Future on a Bicycle

A bike tour of Hamilton organized by Michael Egan, Associate Professor of History, tells the story of Hamilton’s history as well as a look into its future. The tour was organized as part of Big Ideas, Better Cities: Climate Change event.
 
On the trip, cyclists heard from community members such as Ward 3 Councillor Matthew Green and Sean Burak, Operations Manager for Hamilton Social Bicycle program. They also met Nancy Bouchier, an Associate Professor in the History Department, for a brief history of the Hamilton Waterfront.
