Meet McMaster’s New Writer-in-Residence
A warm welcome to Christine Poutney, McMaster’s new Mabel Pugh Taylor Writer-in-Residence. Poutney is a Canadian-born writer and author of three novels and has written for newspapers and magazines including The Guardian, Nuvo, New York Times Magazine.
The Mabel Pugh Taylor Writer-in-Residence is a partnership between McMaster’s Department of English and Cultural Studies and the Hamilton Public Library (HPL). The residency program brings an established writer into the Hamilton Bay area and allows new and aspiring writers to consult one-on-one with him or her.
