Humanities Students Recognized for Academic Achievement at 2017 Humanities Awards Ceremony
The Faculty of Humanities Thirty-Sixth Annual Awards Assembly held this past Friday (February 10, 2017) recognized the outstanding academic and research achievements of students in the Faculty of Humanities.
The ceremony recognized 166 academic and research awards and 234 students were named to our Dean’s Honour List. Attendees were treated to inspiring speeches by Humanities Alumni Diana Weir, Executive Director of the Hamilton Philharmonic and by Humanities fourth year student Sadaf Rahmanian (Honours Cognitive Science of Language). A musical interlude was provided by Kate Garcia, the Reginald Bedford Piano Scholarship Award Winner.
