Learn how McMaster researchers are using knowledge exchange strategies to impact awareness, engagement, practices, and policies.

McMaster faculty, graduate students and staff are invited to join us on Friday, September 23 for Impacts Unpacked, a panel discussion and website about how research impact happens (when knowledge is exchanged). Strategies include:

  • Community-based research
  • Policy influence
  • Arts-based methods
  • New media

Panelists are: 

Saara Greene, Associate Professor, School of Social Work

Catherine Graham, Associate Professor, Theatre & Film Studies

Isik Zeytinoglu, Professor, Human Resources and Management

Monique Beech, Marketing & Communications Strategist, Faculty of Engineering

Stephanie Procyk, Manager, Research, Public Policy and Evaluation, United Way Toronto

With closing remarks from Dr. Maureen Dobbins, Professor of Nursing and Scientific Director for the National Collaborating Centre for Methods and Tools.
