Socrates: Paradise Revisited: Bus Trip to Mac Forest
November 7. 2018. 9:00AM – 12:00PM
Togo Salmon Hall, McMaster University

Participants will travel by bus to the McMaster Forest on Lower Lions Club Road to hike trails and hear about restoration, research and history of the old growth forest. All participants will receive a sketchbook to record observations, reflections, sketches and photographs of their experience.

Location: Depart at Togo Salmon Hall, Stearn Drive at 9 a.m. Depart Lower Lions Club Road at 12 noon to return to campus.

This event is a part of Paradise Revisited series. McMaster University’s natural lands and environs are the setting for an ambitious, multi-facted, six-month-long initiative which welcomes faculty, staff, students and community members to re-acquaint themselves with our rich landscape

Activities include field trips, panel discussions, lectures, readings, art activities and exhibitions. Participants are provided with sketchbooks to document their observations; and these sketchbooks will be shared at a showcase on October 25.
