Mike Polci & Tim White

TIM WHITE is a trumpet soloist, conductor and music educator.  Receiving his degree at the University of Michigan, he has advanced degrees in conducting and education.  He conducts the HPYO Wind Ensemble, is an Adjunct Professor at Brock University; teaching music history, brass methods, instrumental performance and trumpet.  Tim is also the trumpet instructor at McMaster University. He has performed in many bands such as in the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra, the Ontario Philharmonic, Symphony Nova Scotia and the Niagara Symphony.  MIKE POLCI attended Western University, studying trombone with Joseph Castello.  Mike has performed with the Canadian Opera Company, the national Ballet of Canada, and in Stratford and Shaw festivals.  Working with many musicians, Mike is the leader of the Dixie Dawgs jazz combo, and has collaborated with Diana Krall, Mel Torme, Cab Calloway, Ray Charles, Mickey Rooney, Shirley Jones, Mitch Miller, Frank Sinatra Jr., The Temptations, The Supremes and the Four Tops.
