The First Year Experience
One of the biggest concerns we find first year students have is being unsure what program in which they wish to specialize. We feel this can actually be a valueable position to be in. It means you are open to exploring a wide range of subjects in order to find your passion.
And this is exactly what our first year experience is designed to provide.
Students enrolled in a first year Humanities program are encouraged to take courses in varying fields so that they open their options for a program and discover more about our different areas of study.
Thinking critically, engaging and empathizing with others and asking the important questions are the types of skills that our students in all of our academic programs learn. These are just a few of the reasons why our graduates are best placed to become future leaders.
“It is in Apple’s DNA that technology alone is not enough—it’s technology married with liberal arts, married with the humanities, that yields us the results that make our heart sing.” – Apple Co-Founder, Steve Jobs.
