Based on a detailed analysis of the rondo, this pictural chart of "Rondo V" dramatically reveals how the rondo theme takes over the episodes and the coda. Textual descriptions are given in A Passion For the Rondo Theme in Rondo V and in Chart I - Rondos I, III and V, Opus 3 by Jane Savage: Similarities and Differences. You can compare this pictorial chart to a representation of a typical rondo as found in Chart II - Rondos and Their Conventional Form. The numbers indicate actual measures. Please note that I chose darker shades of yellow to indicate the cadential regions, and repeated the lighter shades to show the antecedent and consequent phrases. One of the important repeating motives in this rondo is first introduced in m. 2. It is then used in the cadential motives in the antecedent and consequent phrases in both the rondo theme and in the episodes.

I also used different colours to show how the episodes and the coda are supposed to be different from the rondo theme. The colours dark blue and green in Episode D and the Coda are not even used since new material is "not" introduced in episode D and the coda. I did not need to use darker shades of bright blue, dark blue and pink in the episodes, since the rondo theme material is developed in the episodes and the coda. Some motives from the episodes do get repeated in the following episodes and in the coda.
