"I was an MA student in the Philosophy program at McMaster University from 1994-1996, and I specialized in the philosophy of law. Looking back at those formative years of my education, I can appreciate how important my time at McMaster was to my overall intellectual development. The graduate courses I took in Philosophy provided me with a solid understanding of the debates in the field, and helped me expand and apply this understanding to related issues in political philosophy. And the opportunity to do my MA thesis, under the supervision of Professor Wil Waluchow, was invaluable. It helped me develop the confidence, analytic skills and work habits necessary for undertaking independent research."
