VALÉRIE MILOT was inspired to play the harp when she was ten years told, and continued her education at the Conservatoires de Montréal and de Trois-Rivières. Graduating with high recognition she received the Prix d’Europe. She has also been awarded at the International Harp Contest, the Young Soloist Prize, the Radio-Canada revelation of the Year award, the Discovery of the Year award at the Opus Prizes, and the le Prix des arts de la scène Louis-Philippe-Poisson. Her latest album has been recognized as “the greatest Quebec album of the year” by Le Devoir (Christophe Huss). She has recorded two albums with violinist ANTOINE BAREIL, a member of Quartango since 2009 and playing with the soprano Marie-Josée Lord. As a graduate of Trois-Rivières Conservatory of Music, Antoine has pursued in many international collaborations. He is a winner of the Canadian Music competition, member of the Salzburg Chamber Soloists (Austria) and three times concertmaster of Deutsche Kammerakademie Neuss am Rhein (Germany) between 2005-2006.
