“Trade offs and the right to health“
The right to health has been described as an ‘incompletely theorized right’. In practice it tends to be applied as a right to access to health care, but the difference between a right to health and a right to access to treatment require different features. What is a right to health when people are often so willing to give it up in favour of other things they value?
