Sex Work Is Work: A panel on sex work, sex worker organizing, and worker’s rights

This event will center on the experiences of sex workers. Some of the key topics of discussion are sex worker organizing, the need for decriminalization, the harms of anti-trafficking laws as they are currently applied, and navigating work in late capitalism.

This event has been planned by two graduate students in the School of Labour Studies and is supported by the McMaster School of Labour Studies and CUPE 3906.

This panel will be moderated by Emma McKenna, a recent grad from the English and Cultural Studies PhD program, and featuring Elene Lam, a current PhD student in the GSFR Diploma program.
