"The Department of Philosophy at McMaster has so much to offer, from leading philosophers in their areas to the best kind of intellectual atmosphere a graduate student could want. I studied at Mac from 2000 to 2005, mainly in legal philosophy, but my connection to faculty, especially my doctoral supervisor, Wil Waluchow, and past and current students has remained strong ever since. I left feeling in touch with the leading debates in the philosophy of law, and with solid preparation for scholarship that I believe has served me very well. I also left with several wonderful friends, and a sense of generosity, rigour, and professionalism which I learned from Wil in his classes, meetings in his office, and not least from enjoyable trips to the golf course. I was therefore absolutely delighted to rejoin the Philosophy Department at McMaster with an appointment of Adjunct Assistant Professor. I am convinced that any student wishing to study legal philosophy should consider very seriously McMaster."
