Leaving McMaster in Your Estate
Legacy giving has a special place in the history and future of McMaster University. Founded in 1887 through a bequest by Senator William McMaster, our University understands the power of legacy giving and the true importance of donors who make those gifts. Establishing your legacy with the Faculty of Humanities will ensure future generations of students will remember your commitment and belief in the value of a Humanities education.

Humanities Research
Humanities researchers are united in their exploration of human culture. The questions asked and the methods employed, however, are as varied as human culture itself. You can find us in art studios, and archives; we conduct experiments in laboratories and engage in research in many communities. We produce knowledge and understanding that fuels minds, opens doors and builds bridges.

Support a Department
Do you feel a special connection with your department and want to support their efforts? The Faculty of Humanities encompasses many departments, programs, institutes, centres, studios and labs, all working to provide a diverse and world-class Humanities education. Find ways to support their unique priorities.
Support Students
The Faculty of Humanities aims to attract and support the best and brightest students and provide them with the skills they need to succeed in an ever-changing world. Supporting Humanities students – whether through bursaries, scholarships or grants – will provide them with exceptional educational opportunities and allow them to focus on their studies and research.
